Boy... do these things sound familiar or what? (Except for the spiders) It was great getting to spend some more time with you in Hoosier Land.
I read your blog titled "I AM Not OK" and a song leapt to my mind by Sanctus Real titled "I'm Not Alright". Perhaps you have heard it. If not you can find it here: http://air1.com/music/chart/Default.aspx Go to the "Select a Top Songs Chart" and click on the week of June 17th. They are #3 and you can hear the song. There is probably an easier way to do it that I am not aware of. Anyway I really enjoy that song and have been blessed by it. It expresses some things that a lot of us feel. I am not alright. I need a Saviour.
Don't fret sir. Buying a home is the largest purchase one can make but it's also a very solid investment because the money you put in can always come out and the interest you pay will reduce your taxable income which translates to an instant raise, realized in the long run.
Always remember the long run.
At your age, it is probably best to focus more on the financial aspect of the investment than things like a perfect location, or perfect amenities. This market very expensive and cash flow is king when managing your life. If you find a humble joynt that you can purchase that keeps you in a position to continue to save, you're doing well.
As for marriage? It's a big one too, but just like any other decision in life, at some point one just has to choose a direction and stick to it. If it's too hard to make the decision, then deciding against a given commitment is probably the safest bet. You know what you want.
Arachnids munch on dreaded insects and since we don't have a prevalent population of the Recluse family of spiders, I wouldn't worry too much about them. It's the scorpion population that concerns me!
As for werewolves? If they look anything like Michael J. Fox then I'd like to have one as a pet. I could call him Wooky Over Here!
